Meet Our Mares

Clononeen Kincora
Gorgeous 6 yr old heavily feathered, double thick mane and tail, triple registered 15.2hh piebald grand vanner mare imported from Ireland, trained in dressage and broke to drive carriage. Prized gypsy mustache :) Kincora is the diva of the farm, her movement and presence is absolutely amazing. She was bred to our Stallion Aurora Acres TirNaNog (see stallion page) and is in foal and due next feb 2010. Click on her name link above to view her photo gallery and past foals!

Aurora Acres Farrah
Aurora Acres Farrah is our almost 16hh, 5 year old rare colored blue roan tobiano gypsy drum mare with heavy feathering, mane and tail. Very easy going girl with sweet laid back personality, goes with the flow and quick to make friends with just about everyone she meets, not a mean bone in her body. Loves to work on the flat, strong work ethic, beautiful floating trot and will do just about anything for Dawn's gummi bears and diet coke. Pretty head and neck. More photos to come. Farrah is in foal and due in March 2010.

HVR Moonstruck Fortune - aka Luna
VERY WELL-BRED BIGGER FILLY: Luna was born in May 2007 out of High Valley Gretel and by the fabulous Fortune Teller. She is going to be a bigger girl and is graying out like her Dam. She is a wonderfully sweet, pocket-pony kind of girl (again, like her Mama) with a darling little, almost dished, head. Luna has correct conformation, great legs, and abundant hair. Luna has just turned two and is already as tall at the hip as her Dam (15 hh) so may well be taller.
There is no limit to what you can do with this girl. Both parents are athletic, willing individuals. Her grandsire, Blackleg, was known as one of the best moving horses in the UK. Her other grandsire, Billy Boy, is known as one of the most influential Gypsy Stallions in the UK.

FORTUNE'S JEWEL: {4/09} Fortune Teller x HVR Breeze. Jewel Baby is simply gorgeous in form and in spirit. She already has more feather than all the other foals,b & w piebald markings, marbled blue eyes and just wow conformation, but it is what is inside her...the spirit about her...that makes her so special. Thanks to Colleen Beck in Texas. I will take good care of this baby for you!

Astari Magic- barn name "Star" is our Lippizan/arab cross. Beautiful flea bitten grey and a big 16hh. She's got the typical arab short, straight back , perfect balance and symmetry, deep chest, and a gorgeous chiseled head with a dished face, long arching neck, and high tail carriage. Bred to our homozygous stallion and will have a tobiano foal in Spring 2010. The resulting foal will be a more substantial horse having more bone and muscling, but would carry itself with the proud air of its light horse parent. It would have superior stamina combined with a more tractable disposition. Plus, it would have the flashy Gypsy coloring, an abundance of mane and tail, and some light feathering. This cross would make an awesome, up-headed carriage horse that could excel in combined driving. Can be registered with the Gypsy Cob Society as a Gypsy Cross. INUTERO FOAL IS FOR SALE

CASEY is Aurora Acres' 15.1hh lovely jet black tennessee walking horse recently gave birth to a colt by to our homozygous stallion. Foal was born Nov 8 2008. Im so excited about this foal, what a neat gaited, spotted gypsy cross. This colt will make a wonderful family horse due to its smooth easy ride and its calm, docile temperament. Would be great for for ranch work; they are excellent reining and cutting horses. This flashy foal could also be used for driving, jumping, and western style gaming events. Our White Springs facility has decided to keep this beautiful tobiano colt- no longer for sale.
**UPDATE** Casey is in foal for early spring 2010 baby!!! Contact us if interested!

Mia's Royal Skip is our drop dead gorgeous 6 year old registered golden palomino quarter horse. Everyone that sees her wants to buy her from me and she's built like a tank. Not for sale the husband would kill me!! Sweet puppy dog personality, stops on a dime, great cuttin' horse and bred to our Gypsy Stallion Aurora Acres Tir Na Nog. Were hoping for a beautiful palomino tobiano feathered gypsy cross next sept 2010, Mia is a great broodmare and excellent mother. This gal cost me a small fortune but she's worth every penny.
